Many people, including DEM Party, DBP, HDP, Avesta and Ege TUHAYDER executives, were detained in house raids in Izmir.
In Izmir, many house searches were carried out by the police in the morning. Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Aegean Regional Representative Aslan Kızıl, Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) PM Member Aydın Çetinkaya, Avesta Language and Cultural Research Association Co-Chair Ramazan Kaygısız, People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Menemen District Co-Chair Ekrem Karakoç, Former managers of the Aegean Association for Assistance with Detainee and Convict Families (EGE TUHAYDER), Selma Altan, Hediye Tekin and İsmet Akdemir was taken into custody.
It was learned that the names who were detained on the grounds of "being a member of an organization" were taken to Izmir Political Branch.
Lawyer Mecit Yıldırım said that they could not meet with their clients because there was a 24-hour "lawyer restriction" decision in the file.
