Captive Partisans, who have been held in Silivri Prison for 10 months, were brought before the judge for the 3rd time today. A decision was made to continue detention for 8 people who were detained.
A lawsuit was filed against Partizan readers, who were arrested based on legal and democratic actions and abstract allegations based on a mere statement, for "membership in a terrorist organization" and "propagandizing for a terrorist organization". The second hearing of the case was held on December 22, and it was decided to continue the detention of 8 people, including 4 Partizan readers.
At the ongoing hearing at the 30th High Criminal Court, after the defense of the Imprisoned Partisans and their lawyers, the committee took a break for the decision. After a 2-minute break, the committee entered the courtroom and announced its decision. A decision was made to continue detention for 8 people.
The verdict hearing will be held on May 24.

Prisoner Partisan Aysel Kaya started her defense. On behalf of the imprisoned Partisans, Aysel Kaya began her defense by greeting March 8, International Working Women's Day. Kaya emphasized that March 8 is the day of struggle of all exploited women, especially working women, and in this sense, emphasized its originality in the history of resistance of the oppressed. Stating that even March 8 could become a reason for punishment and trial, Aysel Kaya ended her words by once again saluting the struggle of working women against oppression, exploitation, male domination and violence.
